Waste transfer station: the role and function of the waste transfer station

Author:

The main function of waste transfer station is to concentrate all kinds of domestic waste, reduce the number of transportation, thus reducing the overall cost of waste transportation and reducing the labor intensity of sanitation workers; secondly, there are more functions, such as reducing the breeding of mosquitoes and flies, driving away secondary pollution, and decorating the surrounding environment; as people's living standards continue to improve, their requirements for environmental conditions are also getting higher and higher, and the traditional refuse collection points in urban and rural areas have cannot meet people's new concept of fast, environmental protection, energy saving and low consumption. Therefore, the compressed garbage transfer station must be promoted.

A clean and comfortable environment is inseparable from the hard work of sanitation workers. A large amount of garbage has disappeared from our lives. This is inseparable from the reputation of sanitation workers and waste diversion. Sanitation workers are scattered in neighborhoods, streets and factories, collecting and transporting garbage from living areas to transfer stations, where it is compressed and transported to disposal sites in sealed garbage trucks.

The compressed waste transfer station plays a key role in maintaining urban sanitation and protecting people's health; it is an important sanitation infrastructure for cities, serving as a hub to connect residents' daily waste with waste treatment plants. At the same time, it is also inseparable from the compressed garbage transfer station in the construction of new rural areas, which can rationalize and scientifically solve the rural garbage problem.

The four main types of compressed garbage transfer stations are: underground refuse transfer station, vertical garbage compression station, mobile garbage transfer station, and split garbage transfer station, and different equipment is selected according to the processing capacity of the garbage transfer station.

Underground refuse transfer stations are generally small refuse collection points, which can be used in towns, villages, communities, parks, scenic spots, schools, highway service areas and other areas. The garbage disposal capacity is generally about 20-80 tons, and the garbage disposal points are compressed. Domestic garbage is convenient; It is dumped into the transfer station by various garbage collection and transportation vehicles or other means. After filling a bin, the refuse is lifted off the ground by a lifting mechanism, and then the refuse is lifted out of the well pit. The transfer equipment is docked. By docking, the refuse station transfers the refuse in the box to the box of the transport vehicle, and then the refuse station drops back into the pit to start the next round of operation.
